Turn accessible trees into useful coverage
Editorial purchase advice based on the facts and interaction source cited on this page.
Pocket Factory adds engineering and creates a turret when a tree is destroyed. Our editorial purchase test asks whether the selected map and damage pattern offer enough accessible trees for that trigger to matter. A tree across a dangerous pack is not free turret value if reaching it costs the run. Compare the location of the created coverage with the route enemies and the player are actually taking. The unique flag means the source does not support planning a stack of several factories.
Engineering is the relevant starting point for understanding turret damage, while structure interactions must be checked against the chosen character. Streamer has an armor rule tied to structures, making it a useful example of a second benefit beyond the damage itself. Cyborg can use engineering during its conversion phase, but timing and coverage still matter. Builder's special restriction means the usual additional structure shopping advice should not be transferred automatically.
On Danger 5 or Nightmare, our recommendation is to prioritize existing clearing needs over a hypothetical field of turrets. If tree destruction is already part of a safe movement route, Factory can add coverage along that route. If enemies force the player away from the spawned turret, the theoretical damage will be less useful. Keep personal defense in the budget and use the engineering rules to compare this item with a direct weapon upgrade. No unrecorded tree spawn rate or promised turret count is assumed.
Pocket Factory is a unique tier-2 item priced at 75. It gives plus 2 engineering and spawns a turret when you kill a tree. It counts as one structure. That count matters for Streamer, who gains armor per structure, and for Lighthouse, which punishes engineering. I do not have a second source listing every tree item in the game, so I will not publish a tree checklist and pretend it is complete. What I will say is that the factory does nothing in a run with no trees, and Crash Zone is the map that actually has them. The wiki template is the only number source I opened for this item.

FAQ
Is this number from two sources?
The item and weapon templates I used are the community wiki. Where I only had that page, the note says so.
Which set includes Pocket Factory?
The copied field list places Pocket Factory in Base. I do not move a character between sets to match a tier list.
