Editorial strategy: recommendations below follow the cited character rules; the source table records the underlying facts.
Build and shop priorities
Streamer earns materials while stationary but receives its damage and attack speed bonuses while moving. Our editorial opening separates a safe earning window from a fighting window instead of trying to maximize both at once. The carried material penalties make a large wallet a tactical cost as well as a resource. Structures can add armor through the character rule, so consider whether a structure purchase improves both the damage plan and personal protection. Do not buy a structure solely to watch the armor number if its price prevents the weapons from keeping the next wave under control.
Unlock and clear reward
Reach minus twenty percent speed to unlock Streamer. Its clear reward is Community Support. Deliberately slowing another character for the challenge differs from playing Streamer, whose material based speed penalty changes during its own economy loop. The unlock condition does not mean that being as slow as possible is the objective of a successful Streamer run.

Danger 5 decisions
Danger 5 advice is to stop earning when safety disappears. Move early enough to use the moving combat bonuses and find another clear pocket rather than waiting for contact. Before leaving a shop with a large reserve, inspect both damage and speed penalties from the wallet. Spending part of that reserve on a meaningful upgrade may improve the ability to keep earning later.
Nightmare risk planning
In Nightmare, enemy durability makes stationary farming windows less forgiving. Use short, deliberate pauses after clearing space, then relocate before pressure closes in. Our recommendation is to prioritize reliable coverage over the largest possible idle income screenshot. Structures and armor help support the plan, but they do not replace the need to recognize when a safe pause has ended.
Compare the weapon classes and available stats, unlock entry, Danger 5 rules, and Nightmare changes before adapting the loadout.
Streamer gains 3 percent materials per second while standing still, capped at 25, and gains 40 percent damage and attack speed while moving. Each structure adds 2 armor. Material drops are halved. Every 15 materials costs 1 percent damage, and every 30 materials costs 1 percent speed, so the pile you stand still to build also taxes the character. The unlock is dropping speed to minus 20 percent. A clear unlocks Community Support. MetaBrotato leans on structures and armor. I treat standing still and moving as two different modes you swap, not as a single stat to max.
