Editorial strategy: recommendations below follow the cited character rules; the source table records the underlying facts.

Build and shop priorities

Bull cannot equip weapons and damages enemies through the explosion triggered by taking damage. Our editorial opening therefore directs spending toward a sustainable cycle of health, armor, regeneration, and relevant damage scaling. A normal gun shopping route has no equipped attack to improve. The character's regeneration modifier is favorable, making recovery an obvious candidate when repeated contact drains health. Still compare recovery with mitigation: surviving a larger hit and restoring small losses are different jobs. Do not deliberately run into every enemy just because contact triggers offense; choose controlled contact with a route out of the surrounding group.

Unlock and clear reward

Clear Danger 1 to unlock Bull. Clearing a Bull run unlocks Gnome. Bull's starting health, regeneration, and armor are part of the selected character, rather than items needed to complete the unlock. Review the Bloody Hand interaction if considering an item that triggers recurring self damage; the interaction is distinct from the ordinary enemy contact loop.

Character source:Win a run in Danger 1. Clear reward:Gnome.

Danger 5 decisions

For Danger 5, control how many enemies can touch the character at once. A burst that exceeds the health buffer cannot be repaired by regeneration afterward. Spend toward a balance that keeps the explosion useful while leaving enough survival for a retreat. Weapon life steal advice from a ranged guide should not be transferred to a character that has no weapons.

Nightmare risk planning

Nightmare increases the consequences of taking a larger hit to trigger damage. Our recommendation is to strengthen the health and recovery loop before adding a self damage engine. Separate controlled triggers from accidental crowd contact, and avoid pairing on hurt plans with a shield whose first charge is immediately consumed by the same self damage. Read the related item pages as interaction evidence, not a universal shopping prescription.

Compare the weapon classes and available stats, unlock entry, Danger 5 rules, and Nightmare changes before adapting the loadout.

Bull cannot equip weapons. The compensation on the character page is plus 20 max health, plus 15 regeneration, plus 10 armor, a plus 50 percent regeneration modifier, and an explosion of 30 damage when you get hit, with a 300 percent times 3 note and a 1.5 times crit. The unlock is a Danger 1 clear. A clear unlocks Gnome. MetaBrotato talks about the explosion and the healing. I will not add a weapon tier list to a character who is not allowed to hold weapons. If you wanted guns, this is the wrong potato.
