Luck
Updated for Brotato 1.2.0.1 · checked 2026-11-05

At 100 luck the wiki says fruit drops double and the crate cap doubles. Crate chance is written as the base rate times (100 percent plus luck) divided by (1 plus the number of crates already spawned that wave). Each crate makes the next one less likely.
Legendary items and upgrades are described as capping around 290 luck. I treat 290 as the wiki's round figure, not as a number I measured. Lucky the character starts at plus 100 luck and has a separate pickup zap, which I keep on the character page.
This is a single wiki source. The high 'people also ask' interest is why the answer is a formula and not a shrug.

FAQ
Does 100 luck double crates?
It doubles the crate cap and the fruit drops, in the wiki's wording. The per-crate chance still falls as crates appear.
Is more luck always better?
The wiki describes a legendary cap near 290. Past that, I do not have a second effect to promise.
