Damage
Updated for Brotato 1.2.0.1 · checked 2026-11-05

Each point of the damage stat is plus 1 percent. The wiki's worked example says percent damage and percent explosive damage add: Dynamite's 30 percent on a weapon that already has another 15 percent explosive line becomes plus 45 percent, not a product. Negative damage bottoms out at 1. Engineering structures ignore this stat.
The cited damage example does not establish how every boss-only modifier stacks. Keep that field separate from the sourced Dynamite calculation.
Renegade's minus 400 percent damage line is a character modifier, not this stat. Read it on the Renegade page before you apply this formula. I also keep engineering structures out of this percent, because the engineering page already says they ignore it. Repeating that boundary here stops a gun formula from being pasted onto a turret.
If two guides multiply the percents instead of adding them, I stay with the wiki's Dynamite example until a patch note says otherwise. That is a choice about which public page I trust, not a new measurement.
